Every job follows the same proven process — no shortcuts, no variation by location.

1. 1. Pre-Season Assessment

   At the start of each package, the property is assessed to establish baseline condition — any pre-existing damage, areas of concern, and windows that need special attention in the coming season are documented. This baseline makes each subsequent visit more efficient because the technician knows the property, knows which windows face south and accumulate UV haze fastest, and knows which tracks have drainage issues that worsen in specific seasons.

2. 2. Spring Clean — Post-Pollen & Post-Winter

   The spring clean is scheduled for late May or early June, after cottonwood season peaks but before summer drying bakes residue onto glass. This clean addresses the winter grime that accumulated under snow and condensation, the cottonwood fibre that embedded in frames and sills, and the first flush of agricultural dust from spring planting in the Shuswap corridor. Spring is the heaviest clean of the cycle and sets the baseline for summer.

3. 3. Midsummer Clean — Dust, Insects & UV Haze

   The midsummer clean targets the specific conditions of a Shuswap July and August — agricultural dust from dry field conditions, insect season residue, and the UV haze that builds on south- and west-facing glass from prolonged high-angle sun exposure. This clean is lighter and faster than spring because it's maintaining a recently established baseline, not recovering from months of neglect.

4. 4. Fall Clean — Debris Clearing & Pre-Freeze Prep

   The fall clean happens in September or October, before the first hard frost, and addresses leaf debris, early rain-season mud spray, and any mineral deposits from summer irrigation contact. Weep holes and tracks are cleared as part of the fall clean because blocked drainage is a frost-damage risk — water pooling in window channels freezes, expands, and can crack seals or warp frames. The fall clean leaves the windows ready for winter.

5. 5. Recurring Booking Setup

   Package holders are scheduled in advance for all three cleans at the start of the season — no repeat booking required. Priority scheduling means package customers are placed before single-booking customers in peak-demand windows, which in the Shuswap means they're guaranteed a May/June spring slot rather than waiting until late July when solo bookings have filled the calendar.

6. 6. Annual Summary & Condition Report

   At the end of the fall clean, a brief summary of the season is provided — any windows showing developing issues, frames with deteriorating seals, or tracks that are beginning to drain slowly. This gives the homeowner information to act on during winter rather than discovering problems in spring. It also seeds the following year's pre-season assessment with accurate current-condition data.
